Will Phelps

I am a cinematographer and photographer who travels the world in search of the the next fly fishing story. Adventure is what ties me to the sport, and ultimately, it's the people and the places that fuel my passion. My background in fly fishing dates back to my grandfather, Peter Phelps, who invented the Xuron vise and tied flies for Orvis in the 1970s. He also built bamboo rods by hand. He passed away before I could meet him, so I turned to fly fishing to connect with him and learn more about him. After trying it out, I quickly realized that fly fishing is in my blood, and an obsession began.
