Our Story

Cling Fishing Products is a result of the utmost passion for the Fly Fishing Industry. Every member of our team, has an unmatched love for the outdoors. Our free time is frequently spent in the mountains, lakes, and rivers of the greater Bozeman and Yellowstone area, which is why starting a business to express our love for the outdoors was the perfect fit. We strive to make the best products for those that share our passion for the outdoors, and all the fish in its waters, and hope that we can make your experience in the great outdoors just that much better.

Meet The Team

As founder and president, Jared is responsible for a wide variety of tasks including product design, social media, manufacturing, sales, and more. Jared loves to spend his free time on Montana's rivers and high lakes swinging and stripping streamers for large trout. Throughout high school Jared spent his summers working at a fly shop in Central Oregon, which is where his passion for fly fishing really grew and took hold. This love for fly fishing shows in his work as he is always out to design the newest and most beautiful products to introduce to the fly fishing world.

Jared May

Grace May

Grace has a slightly smaller roll on the Cling Fishing Products team. She is largely in charge of product shipping and packaging. Grace also loves to spend her time on Montana's rivers and streams chasing trout. She earned this passion for the outdoors through her studies in high school and college which got her a degree in fish and wildlife ecology and management. Grace hopes to one day use this degree to improve the waters around Bozeman and the greater Gallatin valley!

As chief director of human resources, Jager's tasks include greeting new customers, repping Cling merchandise, and occasionally product durability testing. Jager loves to spend his free time chasing birds, chewing on sticks, and exploring new reaches of the wilderness. Throughout his youth Jager has earned a passion for the outdoors through hiking up mountains and swimming in the clearest of mountain lakes. Jager occasionally works as a deck hand on some fly fishing excursions and does an excellent job of testing water temperatures, picking out fly patterns, and watching out for obstacles. Jager is no doubt an important and valued part of the Cling team.
